AS13000, talep üzerine kapasite artırımı, talep üzerine performans temini ve talep üzerine hizmet tanımı konularında kapasite artırımı ile toplu depolama sistemi oluşturmak için, dosya depolama, nesne depolama ve blok depolama için yazılım tanımı ve donanım yeniden yapılandırma kavramına dayalı birleşik yazılım tanımı çözümü (unified software definition solution) sunar.

Sistem, veri merkezi bulutu ve isteğe bağlı olarak talep üzerine dijital tanımlamaya yönelik depolama gereksinimlerini karşılamak için 5.120 “node”a genişlemeyi, EB düzeyinde yığın depolama alanını, on milyonlarca IOPS ve 100GB bant genişliği ve güvenilir otomatik veri kurtarma mekanizmasını destekler. Hava tahmini, güvenlik izleme, radyo ve televizyon medyası, finans, telekomünikasyon, eğitim, bilimsel araştırma ve biyolojik tıp endüstrilerinde yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadır.
